Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not upload or create with Burning Bridges Video, and what happens when the rules are broken.
Burning Bridges Video turns one photo into a short, playful party clip. You can’t type prompts: every video uses the same fixed party scene and moves, so the only thing you choose is the photo. This policy applies to every photo you upload and every video you generate. It is part of our Terms of Service. If you are unsure whether something is allowed, don’t upload it.
Only photos you have the right to use
- Upload photos of yourself, or of a person who has clearly agreed to you making a video of them. Pets and characters you own or have the right to use are fine.
- Don’t upload photos taken from someone else’s social media, a stranger, a celebrity, an influencer or any other real person who hasn’t agreed.
Strictly prohibited
You may not upload, or try to create, content that:
- Shows a minor. No photos of anyone under 18, even with a parent’s permission, and no content that sexualizes or endangers children in any way. We report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities.
- Is sexual or nude. No nudity, partial nudity, sexual acts, sexually suggestive poses or fetish content.
- Is violent or gory. No blood, injuries, weapons used against people, torture, killing or graphic violence, and no content that glorifies violent acts or violent groups.
- Involves self-harm or suicide, or encourages eating disorders or dangerous challenges.
- Is hateful or harassing. No content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease, and no bullying, threats or humiliation of a real person.
- Deceives or impersonates. No content made to pass as real footage of a real person or event, to impersonate someone, to mislead people about politics or elections, to commit fraud or scams, or to damage someone’s reputation.
- Infringes copyright or trademarks. No copyrighted characters, mascots, brand logos or artwork you don’t own or have a license for, and no screenshots or footage from films, shows, games or music videos.
- Is illegal or promotes illegal activity, including drugs, weapons trafficking, terrorism, or violating other people’s privacy or publicity rights.
How we enforce this
- Three automated checks. Every video passes an automated moderation service three times: the uploaded photo before anything is generated, the generated first frame before it becomes a video, and the finished video before you see it. The AI models also apply their own safety filters. If a check can’t run, nothing is generated.
- Blocked content. A photo that fails is rejected and deleted. A frame or video that fails is not delivered. Every check is logged so we can review patterns of abuse.
- Human review. Reports and appeals are reviewed by a person.
- Account action. Depending on severity, we may remove videos, suspend or permanently close the account. Credits in an account closed for breaking this policy are forfeited and not refunded. Content involving minors leads to an immediate, permanent ban and a report to the authorities.
- Cooperation with authorities where the law requires it.
Sharing your videos
Videos are made for personal fun. When you post one, say it was made with AI where the platform asks you to, and follow the platform’s own rules. Don’t present a generated video as real footage.
